Bahamas Hosts Michael Jordan and Other Celebrities for 10th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Invitational

(January 27) Paradise Islands, Bahamas played host to many celebrities, including Michael Jordan, Mia Hamm, Alex Rodriguex, Johnny Damon and Paul O’Neil.

The 10th Annual Michael Jordan Celebrity Golf Invitational was held at the Atlantis, Paradise Island, Ocean Club Golf Course, January 20-24.

Of the event, Jordan quoted, “I love golf and I love The Bahamas.  I can’t think of a better location than the Ocean Club Golf Course and Atlantis, Paradise Island for my seventh annual golf tournament.  January is the best time of the year to be in The Bahamas.  The weather is fantastic and the competition is always fierce…”

The competition raised more than $500,00, which will be disbursed to various charities including the Butch Kerzner Summit Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, The James R. Jordan Foundation and others.

Since 2000, MJCI has raised over $5 million has been raised for charity and the event has become one of celebrity golf’s most popular events.
