Montserrat and Antigua Announce the Return of Permanent Ferry Service

(November 25) Permanent ferry service between Antigua and the Emerald Island of the Caribbean, Montserrat, will resume on Wednesday, December 2, 2009.

The Montserrat Tourist Board recently announced the return of permanent ferry service between the islands of Montserrat and Antigua.  The roundtrip service will initially be offered on Wednesday December 2nd, Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th.  Ferry service will extend to Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from December 7th through the end of 2009.

Then, beginning in 2010, roundtrip ferry service will operate on a regular schedule.  The 2010 schedule includes two daily return trips between Antigua and Montserrat on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.  Additional routes will be added during peak travel times.
