Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships Opens at the Provo Golf Club
(August 4) The Provo Golf Club, consistently voted one of the top Caribbean golf courses, will host the 53rd Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship.This prestigious Caribbean golf event began in 1957 with only two countries participating. Now, ten teams from the Bahamas, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and Cayman Islands will compete. Each country will send a 14 person team to compete over 4 days in 5 separate divisions.
The Caribbean Amateur Golf Championship, which is sponsored by Bordier International Bank & Trust Ltd, will continue through August 8th at the Provo Golf Club.
The 18-hole championship course is owned by the HAB Group. Guests staying at HAB Group’s award winning Villa Renaissance or The Regent Grand receive complimentary golf during their stay.
