Caymans, Jamaica, Martinique, and St. Lucia narrowly dodge Hurricane Dean
Friday 12:01am update on Hurricane Dean.
Tropical Storm Dean is now packing 60 MPH winds and heading towards St. Lucia and Martinique at 20 miles per hour.
NOAA upgraded this storm from a Tropical Depression to a Tropical Storm and we now have a name: Dean. Dean will become our first hurricane of the 2007 hurricane season and is bearing down on the eastern Caribbean.
Update: Tropical Depression "#4" has formed off of Africa and is headed towards the eastern Caribbean.
