Ferry Service Connects Barbados, St. Lucia, Trinidad, Grenada and St. Vincent Beginning This Fall

(August 19) As the price of airline tickets, flight delays and baggage restrictions increase, Grenada-based BEDY Ocean Line plans to offer travelers an alternative, reliable means for navigating the Caribbean islands.

Beginning this October, a ferry service out of the Eastern Caribbean will serve passengers traveling between Barbados, St. Lucia, Trinidad, Grenada and St. Vincent.  BEDY Ocean Line is slated for a launch date of October 1st.  The ferry will be operable late October after its maiden voyage on October 20th.

CEO, Benjamin Ross says ticket prices will range from $120 to $140 per person.  Passengers may bring two 60-pound suitcases without charge.

Ferries will be based in St. Vincent, to serve Barbados and St. Lucia, and in Grenada, to serve Trinidad and Barbados.  Each ferry will accommodate between 260 and 300 seats.
